Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was on the tour with Gabor and we walked for almost four hours.
He arrived very punctually at the hotel and had bought train tickets in advance, which greatly facilitated the experience in the city.
Gabor presented the city and let me form my own opinion about the Hungarian and Magyar people, the context of key moments, local and national beliefs.
I emphasize above all the dedication in which Gabor presented the facts, offering me different points of view, implications, so that I could put together my own understanding.
Super recommendable.

I had the loveliest morning walking around Budapest with Gabor. He is friendly, knowledgable, and a brilliant photographer. I will be recommending him to all my friends who visit!
Gabor is a professional behind the lens and instinctively knows what poses and locations work best in photos. Beyond this, he is a genuine local who is so eager to tell you all about the best places to see and go in his beautiful city. He even showed me how to work the local trams..! Thank you, Gabor!

It was the best decision to have Gabor as our photographer
cm guide. He is very creative & knowledgeable person. Knows the perfect locations also guided us about the city and recommendations for restaurants & cafes. He took us to Samose cafe near parliament house for good breakfast. Do book him to experience the city with different prospective and have great pictures as memories. Do carry water bottle & few extra outfits if you want to have pics in different looks and stay hidden. Try for morning slots or golden hours in evening. Thanks Gabor for the good photo session and all the knowledge.

Budapest, Hungary has 3 000 years of history. Numerous wars and various ruling has shaped Hungary into this now much reduced in size land. Reduced to 1/3 of its original size. Nazi and Communist rule has taken its toll in this proud nation. Again, Communism has nothing pisitive to offer except to divide a nation and its peoples.
The historical buildings and architecture are magnificent. There are never ending tours on offer. As uusual, the spec7ilist tour operators cintracted by Cost Saver Trafalgar are most professional and knowledgable about the history of the region. Natasha was excellent and super friendly.

Our guide, Nau, did not really say much that was of interest, and we still don't know what the tour is supposed to be about other than walking in a depressing part of Budapest. We got lost a few times as the guide could not find the entrance to the cemetery. We ended up walking on the actual road for a while as there was no sidewalk and some cars had to swerve or change lanes to give us room (single lane each way). We found the cemetery interesting when we finally got to it (cemeteries are always interesting to us). We did not quite finish the tour as we had spent too much time trying to find the cemetery, and it was getting dark and we were exhausted. I think this was more of a guide issue, rather than District VIII being uninteresting (from we learned about the place from another tour guide today). It also took some effort to follow what the guide was saying because of her accent and her fluency needs work. For us, it was a total waste of a full afternoon and we could have done something else. The guide still asked for her tip, although not too much she said as she lost us. What about our time? We missed out on going to Visegrad as this tour took an entire afternoon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Gábor. We chose the Castle District for the shoot and started in the early morning to avoid the crowd and also to get better results with our portraits. He helped us to pose in various ways or just make us look more confident in getting photographed. Thank you for the great tour.
Highly recommended!

I got the details from trip advisor and e mailed Gabor he responded promptly and we discussed what we wanted. We stopped at the Carinthia Hotel and Gabor prepared an itinerary starting there. It was all good so we agreed to meet in the hotel at 0930.
Gabor promptly arrived 2 minutes before 0930 and off we went to -
city park /hero's square/baths/opera house/St Stephens basilica/liberty square/parliament square/chain bridge/castle hill/pastry shop/market/Jewish quarter/ruin bar.
As we travelled round by bus, tube and tram Gabor explained the history of Hungary and Budapest, we talked about food, drink, politics, you name it Gabor had some insight.
As part of the day Gabor paid for the travel tickets within the price.
We spent a wonderful 7 hours looking round the city.
Go on a tour with Gabor you will not be disappointed.
