Keszthely’s Market Square is a busy place indeed: every day vendors put their products on display, while marketgoers come here to buy fresh vegetables, colorful and fragrant flowers, honeys, hats and other items. The selection is quite big with foods and drinks located on one side of the market, and manufactured goods on the other.

The food is very good

Lots of home made breads and cheese and jams and honey which was wonderful. The other items for sale however are not very appealing.

We know a farmer whose wife Zsuzsa sells only their own produce, fresh from the fields, but: We also found that some people there sell stuff that they bought wholesale in Budapest, so you have to know whom you can trust! On Wednesdays and Saturdays mainly in Summer it's not just a farmer's market but also antiques, clothes and everything... More

There is a Nice variaty of farmers with all kinds of home made merchandise. Honey, jam, cheese, sausages, bread and also soap with different scents. Here you can also find clothes and the famous kettles for goulash soup. We were here also in 2012 but then it was almost double in size.

This is a great little farmers market. It had a good variety for winter along with crafts and even some antiques. There was good pastry and hot drinks as well. It really had that small town flavor and was a good experience.
