Nice building on the main square. It is funny how history changes meaning of the buildings. Good to see but nothing special.

In the center of town a former mosque turned into a church after the Turks were defeated. I recommend to visit the Jakovali Hassan Mosque nearby, which is in it's original state an still in use with its original minaret.

This place is an architectural gem. Beautiful interior design that preserves Ottoman simplicity at its best, but also superb statues of Jesus, the Virgin and various saints. The preservation has been top notch, one can still see a few Allahu Akbar frescoes on the walls....More

With a strong recommendation from the local tourist office, I climbed a slight incline on the wide pedestrian plaza to the imposing domed building. After paying the admission, the self guided tour went through multiple rooms of the crypt, now used for interments. The climb...More

Very nice church with christian metods in mosque. There are old turkish motives in the church. The acustic of the church is also very good.
