Another nice looking building, Hungary seems to be full of them. Many buildings outside of Budapest need some money spent on them so hopefully soon they will look much better.

Maybe it’s not the most beautiful one of the Hungarian Synagogues, but it has a unique and diverse history. I like the Friday’s service. The jewish community is a very convergent posse.

Situated in the very center of the city, cannot be missed or neglected. Very nicely adorned facades are eye catching.

Building like any other nothing special abut it. This is synagogue inside city and that is it. Good thing is plaza in the front of synagogue.

Near the center of town. Very large well maintained Open to the public. Many local eateries and places of interest close by highly recommend this place.

Pecs synagogue is really interesting on a couple of levels. The building in worth a visit on its own merits and then another level is the history of the local Jewish community in the 19th century and the tragic 20th century history.
