Zsolnay Museum highlights some of the works of ceramics made by the namesake company. While we didn’t care too much about the history of Zsolnay, the works on display and its diverse themes were worth a look despite a slightly steep admission.

This is a medium-size museum, but very beautiful. A lot of colourful cermamics are exposed. Most of them are striking by originality and the creativity of the authors.

The museum had beautiful paintings on ceramic and told the story of the man who started this work and became famously and painted buildings churches etc . The ceramic work was amazing . His work is also on display in town square

Zsolnay certified Pecs as an important city and this museum chronicles its growth in text and in myriad displays of the porcelain. It is educational and interesting and a must see while in Pecs.
