Although we're not castle fanatics we walked around the grounds and poked our heads in. It was worth a visit. Very good views to be had from around the castle grounds and a mini Christmas market at the rear.

The castle has been extensively restored and now looks pretty good, perched on a hill overlooking Bratislava city. It's a short hike to get up there but the views are worth it. Due to limited time I didn't bother going inside, but the outside looks good and the views make the hike up there worth the effort.

Great views but it is a tourist trap and essentially built 50 years ago for tourists, atleast that's my opinion

Great castle, with a good view upon the Danube river and the city. The feeling is very historic and it's perfect to take good pictures.

Beautifully kept 9th century castle. The views from the castle are stunning but it's quite a walk up a steep hill to get there. Tours are available by bus to take you there is you can't make the climb. Free to get into the grounds. Worth the visit

The castle was very impressive from the outside but unfortunately I went on a day the inside was closed (most East European museums close on Mondays) and so had to admire the outside. The terraces which overlook the city are really worth visiting. From here you can see the Danube separating into two halves. You can easily spot the differences... More

Beautiful castle, with two nice restaurants nearby. The first one is near the entrance and the second one in the back has a beautiful view. If you are travelling alone it´s easy to reach the castle walking from the bus station, there are signs to go up the street and from there you can go dow to the old city... More
