Spectacular building

Beautiful building but disappointed we could not go in. You could view interior through an internal window but I'm would have loved to walk around inside.

I've been to a lot of European Churches before, but would definitely recommend that you take the time to stop off and have a look at the Blue Church if your are in the city. We saw it as part of the free walking tour. The surrounding area includes buildings from the communist era, and a school which is also... More

A must visit during your stay in Bratislava. It is within walking distance from city centre, the old town. Also, very near the trendy shopping mall Eurovea with its promenade on the Danube and restaurants. Look out for the illuminati symbol when you check the beautiful church out. If you find it, please find this review helpful

THE CHURCH OF ST ELIZABETH OF HUNGARY also known as THE BLUE CHURCH is an amazing church easily located in the Old Town of Bratislava. Built between 1907--1908 this Hungarian Secessionist Catholic Church has an amazing blue facade from which the church gets its name and has to be one of the most photographed churches in this gorgeous city. On... More

We came here as part of our walking tour. It is a stunning church in the most brilliant blue with bits of mirror embedded into the walls. Shades of the Taj Mahal. You can't get inside as it is only open for prayer twice a day. Well worth finding.

I saw the Blue Church during a get together with friends in Bratislava. It's a unique place with unique colors and decorations. It's a little bit out of the way and a short walk for the old town.

It was a hard time to find the place. But it is only blue and looks beautiful. Couldn't go inside, but just could peak in through the doors.

Walk past, stop for a while or go outside, whatever you will do, you would feel like in a slightly absurd fairytale .. a place to remember

Really neat attraction - every little piece of this church is blue. Reminds you a bit of a mosque. Walking distance from old town.
