I'd say don't go unless you are very close to the caste for some reason- there is not much t see, just some walls. Especially do not visit in winter time- cold wind is numbing. The one high tower was closed, can't climb i guess...More

We caught the local bus out to devin castle from the old town terminal under the UFO bridge... it's pretty regular... but you have to ask the driver where to get off as it's a bit of a walk from the two drop off points.....More

We took the ferry from Bratislava to Devin Castle and it took 90 mins to get there the views are amazing leaving Bratislava and approaching Devin Castle. The ferry cost 12 euros return each per adult. On the way back it takes about 30 mins....More

We took the boat trip to Devin Castle which runs twice a day. It costs more than the bus but the views from the river are great. Boat stops for 2 hours before returning so you have plenty of time to explore the castle.

Hi, I'm not sure if you can book in advance but it any case it's never that busy. The ticket booth was empty when we went mid morning and will only take you a minute or so to buy tickets. Enjoy!

Trains run every 2 hours, the trip takes 4 hours and a single ticket costs a bit under £14
