Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The oldest public park in Central Europe and one of the oldest central European parks.
Sad Janka Kráľa was founded on the right bank of the Danube in the years 1774-76

We walked from Bratislava over the new bridge and back over the SMP bridge through the Sad Banks Krala.

It's a pleasant, well maintained, park with pleasant tree lined walks.

Provides a enjoyable contrast to the hustle of the city.

Sad Janka Krala is a nice place for a walk, right near the city center, UFO, Magio beach and you can easily spent some time here, just chiling and relaxing 👍
But beasides that, there is nothing special about this park, especially if I compare it to some other "main" parks in Europe 🌳🌳

Walking in Sad Janka Krala was a delight. It's quite close to the city. To get there. All you need is to cross the New Bridge.

Nice place for walk, full of trees and places to sit and just relax. It’s near the river and kind of quiet and clean.

This park is well worth seeking out, particularly if you have kids with you and you are lucky to be there when the weather is fine.

Just over the river from the old town, it is very close to the UFO bridge, so if you are visiting the observation tower (we did), the park is right beside it.

Very popular with locals, lots of Mums out pushing their children around in buggies. We had a game of frisbee in the park, lots of open space for running around in, the park is very well kept.

Also right beside the Aupark mall at one end, so if you need a coffee or drink,it is right over from one of the entrances.

Grass, paths, trees, statues. In a nutshell.

There’s a large kids playground at the edge yet the modern shopping mall is pulling at its breaches and the prices are unreasonable.

If you want a nice flat, green space to lose yourself in, this is it. Couple of high end cafes on the Danube dude.

We did it with segway. This very old park is where the locals are coming for picnic or take fresh air in hot summer time. U can also find the remains of an anti Napoleon wall...

Close to UFO Tower on the south side of the Danube is Sad Janka Krala which is a large public park and is a great place for a stroll or just to chill out. It was very quiet when we visited and gave it a feel of sanctuary.in the heart of a busy city. It is an easy walk from the Old Town via Most SNP and worth a visit.
