It's a huge park located almost in a city centre, but it looks a little abandoned.... Grafitti on each bench, each little space.... It could be such a beautiful place.

Located in middle of Bratislava, it is a huge space full of great trees, grassy areas, fountain, and seating areas. Directly behind Aupark Shopping Center, plenty of parking is available and is worth a visit. Beautiful, natural with plenty of shade and sidewalks.

Love this park's location and size. It is easy to get to, and it is just big enough for a decent run.

We visited this park during the day during a bike ride around the city. There are nice wide paths and tons of families enjoying the park. This is the largest park in the city and has great views of the UFO on the bridge. There is an old church tower in the park that you can visit and walk through.... More

This garden is nice place to relax insummer and walking in winter. Small tower is from one of the Bratislava`s church. Lot of people from Bratislava go here during summer to running or having a picknik. During year mostly in summer, lot of events are in the Sad. There are mostly historical festivals - about Napoleon wars, or from middle-age.... More

Just out of town over the SNP bridge you'll find Sad Janka Krala public park. Nice to stroll through and a nice way to get to Aupark Shopping Centre.

The oldest public park in Europe! A wide variety of trees, amazingly peaceful energies and a huge area to explore. The auuropark next door has many restaurants and stores,so you can spend a whole day alternating between the old and new or natural and man made convenience!

Nice place to walk or ride a bicycle. Green, fresh, clean. Bike rental is not far, sometimes festivals are conducted. Shopping mall is close by. Not sure, if one could picnic there, did not see it, but would be a good place to do it.
