Bratislava has so many wonderful nnoks and cranies with fountains, arches, wall art, small gardens. This is another example of beauty in the Old City.

Located in the courtyard of the Primate's palace, the beautiful sculpture depicts Saint George slaying the dragon. Worth a short stop on a tour of the old town.

The Fountain of St. George and the Dragon which lies at the heart of the city nothing much about it unless your name is George!

Nice enough statue in a courtyard off one of the main streets in the old town. St George looks a little disinterested if I’m being honest

Sadly, and I suppose it has to do with the time of the year, all the fountains are dry. However, this statue is well worth viewing, and the town really has a wonderful history of sculptures throughout.

This interesting fountain is in the courtyard of the Primates Palace. It is especially interesting because of its history, how it got to this spot and who gave it to the town.
