Well looked after museum containing items relating to commerce and point of sale. Easy to access by the number 70 bus from many places in the city. It is a nice drive out to the outer suburbs and you will certainly see more Bratislava. We even got to see the brewery and pub museum on the same property with the... More

We unexpectedly saw a poster for a concert and found the venue went by bus (70) and found this museum with adding machines and other office machinery and shop fronts. They have a home brewery - beer was fabulous they make their own - great music night, Pete Brown was a guest who wrote and sang some Cream songs. M

I love this shop! They have local products and the owners are very nice they would even let you taste some if possible. Lovely Brtislava rolls & currants wine. Worth a visit, it is the shop from an old times of Bratislava - have in mind its closed on Monadys..

the museum of store also known as the oldest shop in the city on Frantiskanske square / Biela street is one of my favorite places in Bratislava. It is a combination of a museum with old cash machines, old jars and packages and they also sell authentic Slovak products - wine, fruit wine, dairy product (in spring true spring bryndza... More

We accidentally found it as we were looking for Fleischmann museum. There were two ladies there, extremely polite and smiling all the time. It has a free entrance and you can have a look in old-fashion cashers and coffee-makers. The ladies also explained as about the local wine and gave us to taste some. Lived this place and of course... It should be the first. It is very nice half-shop half-museum run by extremely nice and welcoming people who seem to like and care about the place a lot. And they sell famous Bratislavské rožky, a must try in the Slovak capital!

We visited this as a part of walking tour of Bratislava. Its a very different kind of a museum, something not bursting at the seams with tourists. Though small in size, you can find very interesting things to see here that can keep you engaged for a long time- right from the old cash registers to weighing balances. Also, for... More

This museum is a gem hidden 25 minutes away in the outskirts of Bratislava. The easy way to find it is to take bus 70 from Most SNP (Novy most) to the bus stop named Šikmá (you pronounce it Chikma). Take a seat in the front of the bus where you can read the names of the bus stops. You... More
