Old world museum. However, it had a beautiful bonnet exhibition. It helped me to better understand the history of women wearing bonnets.

This place has really interesting expositions from older years. You'll find there a lot of old tools and things that people used for life. Quite interesting! If you happen to be in Martin, make sure you visit this place.

Situated in a historical building which is a jewel by itself, this ethnographic museum is a nice way to spend couple of hours...it is very interesting for kids too.

High quality museum, part of the Slovakian National Museum System focued on ethnography. Two floors of exhibts -- easy to get around in 2 hours. Displays are very high quality with about half having Englihs translations. Exhibitd focus on Slovakian life and dress.
