We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

When visiting the castle it is worth to walk to this right next to it church. It is impressive with all the beayrufull paintings and ornaments. Both restored and worn paintings to study.

It is a pity to see what Soviet occupation has done to this church and monastery. During the occupation church was a warehouse. Church originates from 1487 and has it share beating in its history. Now people try to restore it. Inside is box to support. It suppose to have excellent acoustics, so if you happen to be in town and there is a concert try to make it.
Location makes easy to combine visit to Castle and Old Town.

This church has suffered much over the years and latterly was used as store by the Russians. The congregation has started on a massive restoration of this enormous building and there is much to do. We were there on a Sunday morning and observed the church was very full with worshippers of all ages. Has to be seen to be believed - what Christians have had to forfeit in times of (particularly) Russian occupation when churches were desecrated and commandeered for storage leaves one in awe.

Located in western end of the old town is the Church of St George the Martyr, featuring a nice Gothic style, which had a wedding going on

Church is currently in restoration but you can tell it’s going to be absolutely beautiful when it’s finished restoration may take another year or so and you can go in and look during the restoration and you can see the foundation of the different bricks I didn’t

Large church of a monastery across the fields from the Kaunas Castle. The church is in need of repair and renovation. A very nice church that can use some tender loving care.

The church is currently being refurbished, so I expect that there will be more to see here in the time to come. Although, both the architecture and the decorations as they are make this a place well worth visiting as it is. Particularly since it is free, although donations are welcomed.

Outside it’s not so impressive, not so good condition; hopefully they get money to restore it. When you step inside, it’s not better condition, but something that partly ruin interior makes it beautiful and mysterious. You can feel the history, the past time and it’s just something you have to feel yourself.

The brick church in Gothic style was built at the beginning of the 16th century. During Soviet times it was used as a warehouse. In modern times, the church has been carefully restored.
