The Amber Museum and Gallery were right by our hotel and the place we ended up going back to to purchase amber jewelry. The staff was amazing, and really new their stuff when it comes to Amber. The museum in the basement is incredible. It's...More

We had been told about this place when we were passing on our Ghost Tour one evening. We decided to pop in to take a look as we were aware you could see through microscopes the insects in the Amber. It is free to go...More

This might not be the top tourist destination but if you love amber jewelry like my wife does then it is a must see. It's free to visit and the employees explain all the history and details about the items on display. There are two...More

Exotic and reasonable price in compare to other tourist shops. Also the salesperson is friendly and speak somehow good English which is hard to find in city.

A free-entry museum to get to know Amber and see the various displays of Amber. Was introduced to this as part of a Vilnius walkaround tour by the guide. Some amber items can be purchased if keen. Prices are fixed as there are no other...More

There is no entrance fee to this small museum. There are guides who walk you through and you learn not just where amber comes from but color differentiations and which is most valuable, how to tell fake amber from real and various other interesting tidbits,...More

This little museum provides an easy and convenient way to learn more about the history and uses of amber. The museum is comprehensive but doesn't take a lot of time. You can rely on the genuine quality of the amber jewelry sold here, with peace...More
