I'm not really a church person, but this is a good one. Nice bits and bobs to look at, if I'd known you could climb the tower, I would have. The heating was on, result on a very cold December morning.

The Dome Church is on the Toompea hill, few hundred meters after the Russian Orthodox Nevsky Cathedral. It's the oldest church in Tallin, since it's built on the wooden foundations of a 12cent Danish church, by 13 cent German nobility. The entrance is 3 Eur, but you can skip it, as the whole interior is visible from the ticket counter... More

Really nice church inside (entrance 3 euro),if you like to see the view from the tower 5 euro. The main things are the tens of coat of arms.

Nice church and entrance with tower was €5, climb 139 steps for a great city and port views. Interior of church was amazing and beautifully kept. Worth a look if you like visiting old churches, has a lot to offer.

The church was built at the beginning of 13th century. It is a main Lutheran church in Estonia. Just impressive inside and outside. Every Saturday at 12:00 there is organ recital. Donation required. Entrance to tower is available for fee.

It is interesting to compare a church that working-class people would have worshipped at vs. churches that are much more opulent.

This church is located in the center of Toompea Hill a short distance from Old Town Square. A beautiful stone church built in the 14 century. For 5 euros you can climb to the top for great views of Tallinn. The inside is quite beautiful but not as grand as some other European churches. It was nice but not a... More

Tour guide spoke highly of this church so we returned the next day to take a look. There was no one else there except for a couple of people working - with one of them collecting entrance fee. We stood at the entry to get a quick look at all the coat of arms on the walls but there wasn't... More

The Danes built a wooden church on this site after conquest in the 1200's. The stone church was built in the early 14th century and updated in the 17th century. Built as a Catholic church it switched to the Estonian Lutheran religion in 1561. There is a small entry fee and you can climb up to the tower to view... More
