Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A garden is a loud word. There's not much room behind the fortress wall. But it's very interesting. Monk sculptures, cannon. Maiden tower where you can drink hot wine. Below the knight with the Danish flag, on the information plate you can read that the Danish flag was born here.

The place was not easy to find. But okay, this is where the Dannebrog became our national flag according to legend. Otherwise, there is not much park in the area. One notices the 3 monks. it says there, which seems a little creepy.

Near Toompea Hill, the Danish King's Garden is a great area just to stop and take a seat on one of the benches for a break from the walking up and down cobblestone lanes and streets in Tallin. We found a place to walk up a wall, near this area to a restaurant for a quick coffee as well that afforded, more lovely views of Tallin city centre.
This garden area is well worth a strategic stop during your time spent visiting Nevsky Cathedral, Toompea Castle and Hill area attractions. We recommend the Danish King's Garden on this basis.

A peaceful and beautiful place to sit and The White Monk terrace next to it is a good place for lunch if you are visiting Kiek in die Koch and as an alternative to their rather soulless cafe (we went out for lunch and back in again afterwards)

We spent the day in Tallin - took a taxi from the pier and had a lovely day in old town. This site was worth the hike - just follow the crowd. Lovey view.

Small garden along the inside of the city walls. I more or less stumbled across it on my way from Kiek in the Kök to Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. If you want to access the Virgin's Tower (Neitsitorn), you have to pass through this garden. As I discovered on my second visit, there is also a small street connecting Taani Kuninga Aed with the Old Town below.

The Danish kings garden provides a pleasant place to relax and also an alternative for a view of Tallinn. It is worth wandering up the "short leg" to get the garden and look at the view.

Taani kuninga aed is Estonian for Danish Kings garden. This garden is surrounded by city walls. You can walk down by taking old stairs. But be careful the stairs are uneven. It's close to the old town and if you want a moment of rest it's a nice place.

Just go up by Lühike jalg street and enter a garden via 15th century gate at the very end of the street. There you can find a beautiful sculptures, very interesting old walls and some very special views on the old town. You can find there two ancient towers from 14-15th century - Tallitorn and Neitsitorn. You can climb the first and have a cup of coffee in the Neitsitorn cafe & museum.

Before climbing down from the upper part of the old town to the lower part. The monk sculptures are not old but a nice touch to the wall between upper and lower towns. There are several worthwhile stops on the way down the stairs off of Toompea Hill.

Thank you!
It was probably some kind of a fault. I really searched a way to add one more picture I forgot to add to my review, but have found an answer. So, may be I clicked some point on the PC monitor by fault :-)
I'm sorry.
