Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very beautiful building, but if you are traveling in 2023, please have in mind that the building is closed due to a great energy upgrade. Therefore it is good to check prior to your travel.
Unfortunately, when checking google, there was no information anywhere that the building will be closed for this major work

The Library is located just a 10 minute walk from Old Town, worth a walk to check out this architecturally intriguing building. You can enter the lobby area without access card to see the interior. There is also a simple cafe on the ground floor and several exhibitions always on display as well as a gift shop.

The National Library of Estonia is situated just outside the old town. Originally conceived in 1918 and holding just 2000 books, this much more modern library is a huge grey stone and glass building, and looks very impressive. It currently holds 3.4 million books with space for another 1.6 million, so they won't be needing to do any extensions just yet!

Soviet architecture uniformly gets a bad rap: too much concrete, poor quality, really ugly, and so on.
Not so here. This really is impressive to behold - it's an immense structure and the interior is unbelievable. My only regret is that I was unable to go any further into the building; you need to be a member.
Definitely worth a walk - it's not far from Freedom Square and it's an interesting alternative to the medieval architecture of Tallin's Old Town.

This building certainly puts the British Library to shame as it looks very impressive and the inside does not disappoint either.
It boasts several art spaces and also very helpful staff.
