This is the modern Theatre. Tartu has a history of love of theatre. I even have an 80 year old photo of students playing on those stages of the original old theatre. Nowadays there are many plays and productions to be seen there.

The name Vanemuine means the Estonian music god or something like that.Its the main Tartu theater what has both concert hall and theater hall.There are good musicals held or concerts,so worth to visit.It has a nice cafe,Shakespeare,you can sit also outside in summer
