A relatively easy stroll down and then back up, mostly on wooden stairs. We spent there a nice afternoon with the children. My 2 cents advice: 1. The location on trip advisor is not accurate. Search directly on Google maps for "Ērgļu klintis, Priekuļu pagasts,...More

I recommend to visit Erglu cliffs not only in summer/october but also in winter as well. The color of cliffs and the whites makes wonderful color scheme...

These sand cliffs are beautiful and the location is a nice setting to stop to have a picnic. And like so many places in Latvia, it is very clean. Well worth the visit

You'll need to walk a bit, but it will be more than worth it. Very beautiful. Very beautiful cliffs, river makes breathtaking reflections. Best to visit in a good weather.

One of the highlights in Gauja park. The park itself is beautifull and has nice hiking oportunities. At the cliffs dogs are allowed. As almost everywhere in Latvia almost no garbage to be found.

These sand cliffs are beautiful to see and admire how nature can be different. We saw many similar red sand cliffs on the way canoing on Gauja river (Valmiera-Sigulda).

We visited this cliff in March. It`s interesting to make a stop there if you kayaking from Jāņrāmis to Cēsis. Great overview Gauya river!

Great park with many points that give a great lookout over the meandering Gauja river. At several points you can see interesting geological details.

Ērgļu cliffs are one of the most significant tourism objects in the Gauja National Park, well-equipped for examination (sightseeing platforms, trails stairs). Majestic view that stretches wide across Gauja opens up from the sightseeing place above the cliffs.

Yes, all paths are easily accessible. Just park your car and hike trough the woods to the cliffs.
