Perfect place for those appreciating fantastic fresh air from sea, walking in real wood on made wooden tracks, which are various routes. Just for walking by foot. To tell the truth there's nothing else to see or to do - if only beach to walk or to get sun tanning if you climb down from the dunes. But I like... More

The open- air museum has many buildings and boats of an earlier time. Very pleasant to wander about. It is all free.

Really nice walk in the forest near the beach. You can visit open air museum as well and find out more about the history of fishing and fishermen lifestyle. Definetely recommended.

Nice way to spend an afternoon. Walk and quiet usually when a band is not playing at the "36 line". Not so easy to reach but there are signs. We got there by taxi (about 15 euro from Riga old city).

The best forest in Latvia! Clean and beautiful. Right next to Lielupe beach full of sand dunes and all types of birds. Wonderful walk to the mouth of the river Daugava. Wooden staircase leading to fishing museum. Ideal for hiking and running.

What is really great about this park, is that there are lots of activities here. The first one is you can bring bikes and ride them around the park. You can also rent ground skis and roller skates. There is also a great playground near by with impressive zip lines, climbing webs, and bridges. As you walk through the park... More

The Ragakapa park can be best described with the word dense. The packed trees all around snatches one from the modern environment into nature in a second. It needs some strolling, but I did not know from where to get a map. Hence a GPS was handy to direct one back to his starting point.

A beautiful piece of natural environment, unfortunately at their beginning to be a park. According to eventually wide measyres best way to see all is riding a bycicle. Has some gigh dunes with possibility to drive down, but be aware there are lot of trees around. Jurmala Open Air Museum is directly inside park and there are some things to... More
