The frozen river, the sun piercing through the bitter cold. What a stunning view over the baltic city of Riga. A must visit whilst in Riga, some free tours also leave the front of the church if you do your research. Have a great holiday!

It costs 9 Euros to go up the Tower which includes entry to the church as well. You get in a very squeaky lift to the top. It is worth it as you get great views of the Old Town and across the River. It can get a little windy at the top

Jumped at the occasion of the sun breaking through the clouds and went for the viewing balcony on top of St Peter's church. 9 euros will get you up a squeaking elevator to amazing views. Definitely splurge on this if the weather is good!

Paid €9 per person to go up a lift to the viewing platform. The rest of the church was closed so this was all we got. That said the view was lovely and you probably won't get another like it elsewhere.

It's a lift to the top with some really great views of the Old Town. Watch out for the wind it can be extremely chilling. It costs 9 Euros to go to the top so might want to consider the cheaper Latvian Academy of Science tower which also gives great views at a cheaper price, however that's not in the... More

It's a bit obvious but go up the tower on a clear day. Cost is 9 euros, this is for the tower and the interior , pricey by the standards of similar attractions.

Tower was rebuilt after the war and now provides you with scenic panorama of Riga. Thing is that you are behind bars for some reason, but it is I guess better than behind glass window. Make sure you do not drop your phone or camera while trying to squeeze it through to make picture. I would say that best pictures... More

It costs 9€ to go up this tower, which is double the price I paid for a huge lunch in a restaurant afterwards, but for the views there is nowhere better. First you have to get passed the very unfriendly woman who operates the lift, which was rather amusing since she was so interested in playing her game on her... More

9 euros to ride up the elevator to the viewing deck is probably among the most expensive entry prices to attractions in Riga but it's something I can highly recommend to do at least once, especially on a sunny day. We went up on a sunny but windy day. Didn't stay too long (thanks to the wind) but got some... More

Riga is a great city, small and cosy, charming and bright. I advise to visit it in the winter, it is all white, and then during the summer, it is warm and shiny !
