I can say that the Old Riga is one of my favorite places in the world. It is small but very cute and friendly to tourists.

Notable old buildings and churches galore, will have you snapping away left, right and centre. There are heaps of coffee shops, many restaurants, and lots of bars. (The Irish bars will sort you out for just about all televised sport !)
