This cute little orchestra was the best thing about our visit to Old Sigulda Castle. They were cheerfully standing guard near the car park, no two were alike and they all had little name tags attached. They brought a smile to my face.

So cute, I loved this grouping of army men made from stones and metal. Sad to say that they were the best part of visitng the castle. I would love to have one of my own. They each have names, and are quite comical.

It is a few meters from the entrance to the Old Sigulda Castle. The knoghts are interestingly made from old metal things. Some of them even move their parts.

This is one of the most unusual things I have ever seen. The imagination of the artist goes beyond any limits! All figures are made of motorbike parts, and you will not find the two characters alike. Everybody has its own name like Konrad or...More

Stone head soldiers with ancient name tag. Locates in the front of castle, so you will not miss them. Really match the location.

We stumble across this sculpture and admired the creativity that went into its design. It's amazing what one can do with various objects. It's on the way to the castle and should not be overlooked.

Tiny little sculptures made from rock and metal. Located outside Sigulda castle. Not something I'd necessarily actively seek out but worth a look in passing.
