The crater is a deep depression partially filled with water. There are walkways all around it, in trees. It is just like a big park. There is not a lot of walking. It is of general interest because of course the hole was caused by...More

Check this huge crater. It is easy to find and also has a nice place to drink coffee. You could buy some nice things made from dolomites here.

A short walk from the road is this remarkable crater, which caused scientific discussion for more than a century. Definitely worth a walk around. Local craft shop has some surprisingly good stuff.

A huge crater that teared deep in the earth approximately 4000 years ago. It is easy to find and close to the main road. There are stairways and ladders so you can explore. It looks much more impressive in real life compared to the pictures.

I am so glad we visited this crater, really fascinating! About 4,000 years old, only proven to be a meteor crater in the past 70 years or so.

Sure, not the largest meteorite crater but very interesting all the same. the information boards were very good and the information was well displayed. If you're in the area, you really should see this!

Worth to see if traveling in Saaremaa island. Unique place. Better than all those old churches around...:)
