A beautiful French style chateau in the heart of Slovakia. Saw it in day it was free, so had to wait about 1 hour, as only 40 people every 20 minutes were admitted in. Still, it was worth it.

👍 historical place in middle of 🇸🇰. Inside more for bigger kids to follow tour guide, for smaller kids it is enough to have a look from outside, visiting neighbouring ZOO or other attraction like Dino part performance from predator birds. Many choices to eat...More

The castle it´s self is very nice, inside is full of history. We went there for the fairy tail event. It was amazing - four tales will take you through the whole castle. But waiting lines during this event is very long, but it is...More

It is such a pity that I have to give a one star review for such an astonishong landmark . As an english speaking tourist I felt totally ignored. The castle is full of amazing statues and old paintings almost none of which have plaques...More

Amazing exterior of this romantic castle with some original medieval and renaissance parts is something worth seeing. The park and moat around the castle is great too with pair of deer roaming freely. Unfortunately, we did not manage to visit the interior as it was...More

Went to the castle from the spa, the way as from the 90s an early post-communist picture -- if you také it as a historical sightseeing, it is ok. Castle splendid, park round smaller but nice. The main square empty, mostly closed. Poor local services....More

The perfect example of a medieval castle to rival the best in Europe, nestled in the middle of Slovakia! The story begins as a fortress in the ninth century, continues on with a transformation to Renaissance castle in the 1600s, and finally is remodeled to...More

Beautiful castle with nice/romantic surroundings. Very good guide which told us not only compulsory historic data but also many other info. Castle itself like from fairy tale. Probably best castle interior to see in Slovakia.

It is worth to drive. Go swimming in nearby swimming pool from where there are beautiful views of the castle.

The best way is to take bus or train from Bratislava to Previdza. And then public city bus from Prievidza to Bojnice.

I would suggest to go by car and if you visit the castle don't forget to see the Zoo which is next to the castle.
