This lake was built in 16th century by Jakub Krcin. It is the 14th largest lake in the Czech Republic. There ins't anything out of ordinary about this lake, it has plenty of carp in it as the best carp comes from Trebon.

A roughly 200-hectare fish pond by the name of Svět (World) offers a 12-kilometre walk along meadow and forest paths that give you a chanc e to "walk around the world" in a mere three hours! Good shoes are not a must but will definitely help you to enjoy the trip! At a section not exceeding 400 metres you may... More

Set in a little built up area next to the town Trebon, the pond Svet and other surrounding ponds is a nice place for cycle trips and walks. Worth getting a bike rental in the town to explore the area.

The word Svet means World in English, so man can make a tour around the World within few hours there. On the way you will come from the middle of a town into wild nature on the other side of the pond. Interesting is that the way is not the same; you’ll come through a spa park with many wood... More

great walk around it (13 km), takes you past the Susta's monument, Schwarzenberg's crypt, a beach (Ostende), and through a lovely pine forrest. Totally flat so our kids, 8 and 10, managed in 2,5 hours. The dog just loved it, in and out of water, too. Or bike it, in less than an hour.
