I'm sad to hear that your companion decided not to visit the museum. We have currently run out of the leaflet in English, and I can only apologize deeply for that. It is very unforntunate.

If you're the least interested in paintings or the life of artists, do go here. The house of Anna and Michael Ancher is crammed with paintings, atmosphere and so many stories.

Former home of Anna and Michael Ancher: they kept the house exactly as it did when Ancher past away. Nice collection of paintings, worthwhile to visit while in Skagen

This is one of the musts for everybody visiting Skagen. If you buy tickets for this and the two other musts (Skagen museum and Drachmann's house) you get a price reduction. They are all worth it. But Ancher's house is more than a museum. It...More

A must see in Skagen. Being able to walk around the home of this artist couple, most likely the most important in Denmark, is a great experience.

When you have visited Skagens Museum it is interesting to visit a real home where one of the great painters lived. Everything is original and you get a good filing closer to the persons.
