There are some interesting exhibits here but on a nice day I would skip it to enjoy the ambience of the outdoor squares, gardens and cafes.

I recommend to friends and visitors to start here wondering in Monemvasia with a visit to the Museum. It is small but gives an excellent introduction to the rich history of the Byzantine city

If you love museums and archeological stuff, then go and visit. There are not much to see and its not free.

This little museum illustrates in a limited space the historical wealth of Monemvasia. For a first comer it is a must; it will help appreciate the whole Byzantine settlement
