After deciding the morning of to organise a wine tour, sounds connection were more than willing to pick us up from our camp site of choice (slightly outside of Blenheim where other companies charge $30) We were greeted by Peter, our driver and tour guide for the day. He was so knowledgable and funny - I don't remember the last... More

My husband and I did a full day wine tour with Frank as our driver. It was just us in the morning and two lovely young Austrian girls joined us after lunch. Frank was very knowledgable and informative and lots of fun. He took us to 6 lovely and varied wineries and a delightful lunch spot in between. We asked... More

My partner and I took the 1/2 day tour yesterday and had a wonderful time. Frank - our tour guide - was not only very informative, with his knowledge of the region's history and wines, but also pretty bloody funny - for a Pom (ok so he's been in NZ for decades- but hey, it had to be said Frank).... At each of the wineries visited there were at least 4 wines to taste and in instance 7 wines. The minibus driver (Dan) gave a clear descripiton of each winery before arival and... More

We had the most wonderful private tour with Alan Jones as our driver/guide. He gave us a thorough description of everywhere we went throughout the Marlborough's wineries and Chocolate Factory. We tasted numerous wines in each of the wineries, we think due to Alan's personal connection with the local staff, and felt that we had first rate tasting and care... More

We chose the full day excursion half day scenic tour, half day wine trail. Our tour guide, Alan w,as charming and very well informed of Marlborough's history, including the various wine families that make up this beautiful part of the world. Our scenic trip started in Blenheim (from our hotel) and ended at lunchtime in Picton, taking in a beautiful... More

We had a small wedding for 10 people at our home Okiwa Bay Lodge at Anakiwa and arranged for the wedding party to be taken by Sounds Connection to Highfield Winery for lunch. Sarah from Sounds Connection was incredibly helpful and efficient. They offered and gave a superb personalised service which made a special day into a very special occasion.... More

When hopping on the Sounds Connection half day tour, we had no idea that we would do so much and see so much! We visited 4 wineries that offered us a taste of their whole range and finished the afternoon in a boutique chocolate factory. Doesn't it just sound perfect? It was! Thanks again!
