Picton is a lovely town with a number of different shops and eateries. Easy to walk to the beach with a park and water park to help cool off in the warm weather! Great ice cream shop (pink and green store front)

Very picturesque location which is the gateway to the South Island and also the ferry which takes you across to Wellington which is a lovely journey to take.
There is lots to see and do in such a small place, will have to stay longer...More
