We visited while waiting for the ferry. $72 for 3 adults! Very rundown and overpriced. Not much to see and do. Rotting fruit in bird cages. Dirty tanks, one with a dead turtle in it. It was great to see a tuatara up close however...More

We were there during feeding hour and the staff did a good job of explaining about the animals that they had, but it is just a small operation that charges too much. We liked the red gurner and blue cod in their large tank because...More

The aquarium tanks are small and the whole building is pretty rundown and in need of attention. There are water marks on the ceilings, sagging ceiling tiles, and the paint work is ....well pretty grotty. The tuatara were interesting, but there were an awful lot...More

Paid $48 for 1 adult and two children. Worth only about an $8 entry fee. A few small and rundown aquariums. Don’t bother going

It took about 15 minutes and that's being liberal to go through the place. It was expensive for what you got. Would recommend that you look at other options before spending money on this.

We went to this aquarium on our stop in Picton from our cruise ship. It is very small but still nice. A bit expensive for what they have but the do provide rehab and hospital for local wildlife such as penguins so the extra cost...More

Would be acceptable at half the cost, but an embarrassment at the prices charged. Very dated and although the signs on the building indicate, there are no penguins. A very disappointing experience.
