It is a beautiful beach and the water is nice and calm. I enjoyed myself and swam a few times. The snack bar is decent with sandwiches and snacks but it would be good if they had a washroom for those not part of the All Inclusive that they could use. In the morning we were able to use the... More

Nice quiet beach, just outside of Trinidad - easily accessible by taxi. Only downside is the lack of food options, but the loungers are great and there's always someone ready to offer you a pina colada!

Typical resort services offered, nice quality sand. Watch out for sand fleas. We got eaten up near the umbrellas and lounges, but I was fine on a towel on the sunny sand. This is the leeward side of the island, so it is much less windy than the Havana side of Cuba

Amazed this place isn't swarmed with tourists, got a taxi out for $5 and he came back at the time asked, total paradise beach, some reasonable priced restaurants and cafés along the way, water is very warm. perfect place to go for an afternoon.

We were dropped off at the main Parking close to a smallish Bar and although not crowded we managed to get only 1 sun bed. Very loud sound system. Far better to go another 150 metres to the Hotel Ancon and pay for a day access that will provide drinks & food as well as sun beds !

Ancon beach is just what one dreams the Caribbean should be. Long golden beach. Warm blue water and you can order drinks as you sit under your palm parasol ( 2 cucs per day ) Beautiful

We loved this beach. It was reasonably clean compared to other beaches we visited in Cuba. The water is gorgeous and clean and there are lots of shade shelters along the beach. There are drinks available and sandwiches as well as pizzas sold along the beach which were good. We spent several days on this beach just relaxing.

Take a 10 minutes drive with a taxi from Trinidad and arrive at the large sandy beach. Enjoy the scenery on the way to the beach. Calm warm water of the Caribbean Sea ! Beach chair hire available. One can order food and drinks from a waiter coming from the nearby hotel. Do not order Piña Colada. It was not... More

A bus from Trinidad leaves from outside the Cubatour office in town down to the beach around 9.30 and returns in the afternoon - I understand there's one a couple of hours later, too - but a cab will also get you there for 6CUC or so, and arrange to pick you up later. There are palm umbrellas all along... More

Lovely beach but not a lot of options for drinking/eating and you have to take a cab for 7 CUC or bike for 45 minutes
