We visited the museum to view the archaeological site part only and found it most interesting, our tour guide Julio translated for use. Very interesting to view the bodies and artefacts that have been excavated there.

I was slightly disappointed by my trip - although to be fair, there were doing a lot of maintenance work at the time of my visit. I just felt as though I walked around and learnt almost nothing!

An interesting find. Our guide Louis translated from Spanish to English everything the staff guide relayed about the burial site. There was a 5cuc fee for bringing in your camera and taking pictures.

Quite interesting to view but not very exciting, had to pay to enter and tour guide only spoke Spanish, given a card in English. Good if you like this sort of thing

We were quite surprised when our tour guide stopped by this place. They have found a burial site from the times of the Taíno indigenous people of Cuba. The museum is simple; a square shaped excavated burial site with the skeletons still in place. You...More

As an archaeologist I was interested in the burial site, and interested to learn about the original indigenous population. I also thought they'd done quite a good job of reconstructing a "Taino Village" . However I felt so sorry for the young women who were...More
