This beach typifies the Caribbean with its white sand and crystal clear water. Just the right length for a leisurely stroll and not too busy. The catamarans are great fun and part of the all inclusive package at both the Paradisus and Luna & Mares.

We were staying at the Paradisus, so this was our local beach - shared with the Luna Mares hotel is at the other end of the beach. All beaches in Cuba are public though, so anyone can visit. At the Paradisus end there are toilets,...More

Great snorkeling. Some parts are clear of rocks. Really nice waves when we were there and excellent for just floating.

Great relaxing beach to enjoy after a walk through the park of Sendero Arqueologico Las Guanas. We had the beach all to ourselves.

We prefer it much more than Guardalavaca (which is very good) since there are many fewer people and the entrance is free. In addition, its facilities seem much better

Playa Esmeralda was a highlight. I'm not a swim-up bar or lie in the sun kind of guy, but thoroughly enjoyed my time on the beach - snorkelling, sailing, bird photography in the lagoon, or simply walking the beach. I even napped briefly in a...More

I've travelled areas in Yucatan Mexico and around Cuba and this is one of my new favorites. Snorkeling was excellent and a huge beach with no rocks, no weeds and crystal clear water. Off the resort it was nice and shallow and predictable with no...More

This is a picturesque beach, very good for snorkeling amateurs. However, you should remember to take your water shoes as there are little stones with sharp edges.

The water is so clear. You'll love snorkeling on this beach. Remember to bring your own gear. Morning is the best time to go the beach ;)

What I am not sure of, is how you access this beach from another resort.

Hi Journey65, the hotel is approx 1 hour from the airport by coach. It can be a little quicker if you use a taxi transfer. Hope this helps
