We booked this day tour, and drove upto Whittier. The trip was for five hours, and it is a popular cruise. Advance booking is recommended. We could see Whale, and other marine life. We went close to the glaciers. The area is beautiful, and worth a visit.

Was in PWS for a day fishing charter and was in awe of its enormity and beauty. I would go back again without a second thought.

Take a ferry ride across PWS. Cordova, Valdez, Whittier and beyond. The scenary is magnificent even on a cloudy day. Relax and enjoy the ride aboard one of the Alaska Marine Highway vessels. If you come to Alaska and don't see Prince William Sound then you're misssing one of the best views of Alaska.

No matter what you have seen in photos, or in movies, none of it compares to seeing it for real! The contrast of colors between the rich evergreen forests, the deep shades of blue water, and bright white snow covering the towering sharp mountains is amazing. If you not already on a cruise, then do invest in a short glacier... More
