I love the beach and view of the ocean. The ride was very relaxing and the kids loved the view. I can't wait to go back.

We've been fortunate to have taken this highway several times. This most recent trip was broken into two parts (San Francisco to Morro Bay, and Morro Bay to Los Angeles). Because we were traveling in December and the sun was setting before 5pm, we started...More

What a great views everywhere you look. Does not matter if it is sunny day or cloudy and even rain. I had to drive back to Monterrey because of possibility of mud slides but it was worth it.

As two friends we did drive from Monterey to the south of Santa Barbara all day. I believe one should have a few long stops during the trip. If I had time, I would definitely stay at a hotel on the route and enjoy the...More

One of the most beautiful drives - travel up the coast and see the views and stop along the way...San Simeon, Big Sur, state parks, trails. Coast, mountains, farms, forests...this drive has it all. A must do.
