Felt like we were in a magical place. Breathtaking...one needs to really take their time and drink in the beauty of the majestic trees. Takes your mind off the really twisty turns! Truly worth it...my heart is full.

This is what dreams are made of. Beautiful and majestic Redwoods. Spiritual and Peaceful. There aren't enough words to describe being blanketed between these majestic Giants. The park volunteers were helpful and charming. Get a map of the trails. We went in late fall so...More

We definitely recommend taking an afternoon to drive through the Avenue of the Giants, the trees are amazing and so much bigger in real life!

Part of the Humboldt Redwoods State Park we realized at the entry point that there was a self-drive auto tour with pamphlets available that provide info for the route. This is fantastic. Our regret is that we didnt stop for more hikes along the way....More

A beautiful drive through an old-growth Redwood forest. Make sure you stop at the visitor's center along the way to learn about the history of the park and get a driving map. Unbelievable Redwoods that you have to see for yourself.

I have no clue, we did not do any hiking. But we saw plenty of places indicating Trail Walks. There are 2 small, unmanned Visitors Centres along the way that offer a range of brochures that might be helpful to you.

Didn't see any bike rentals anywhere along the route. Maybe just go a cheap one at Walmart and give it to a local kid when you're done with it.
