We camped at Arapaho Bay on the eastern end of Lake Granby. Unfortunately in September some of the camp sites on the lake's edge were closed off, but there was still plenty of room, and it was very quiet. Being a national park the facilities...More

We had a great time at A Basin. Ski lifts are awesome. Food was good. When other ski lifts were closed, A-Basin was always open for us. We are senior citizens (young at heart) and although we can't ski it's awesome fun to ride the...More

It is like in a dream, beautiful mountains reflecting in the waters, breathtaking views, nice forest trails, anything outdoor that you can think off it is possible here. It is amazing.

Very scenic with no park guidance at all. We went to about 10,000 feet and really wished we had our jeep from home! Absolutely pristine. A must if you're in the area.

The Arapahoe national forest is huge. Plenty of room for any outdoor activity you can name from an afternoon to a week long backpack.

There are many beautiful hiking trails here. It is not as busy as going into Rocky Mountain National Park. Locals prefer hiking here as the scenery is lovely and the Park has become very crowded.
