Woodlands and Diamond Ridge Golf courses are great courses near the city. Although Woodland is a bit over priced. The staff is excellent and maintenance generally good. The Food and Beverage is moderately priced and good. I would deem collectively both courses good value for the money.

In my 30 years of playing golf, this was the worst course ever played. Played on labor day weekend (Saturday). The course was in horrible shape. They aerated the fairways and there was so much sand in the fairways. God forbid we hit a perfect shot into the fairway. Our ball did not bounce much and the approach shot was... More

Nice winding layout. Carts are a must ( walking May not even be allowed ) as distance between green and tees is significant at times. Greens were fats with severe breaks ..a few suddle break greens but they are few and far between. Plenty of trees and no houses .. Truly a remote woodland setting only a few miles from... More

The Woodlands Is a very interesting design with lots of scenic holes. Can't comment on previous reviews about the course always being wet -- we played there after four days of heavy rain, and everything (both on and off the course) was soaked. Conditioning is OK but not great; but then again, it's a muni. I look forward to playing... More

I had opportunity to play this past saturday as a last minute fill in. Great layout, greens in great shape but the fairways are wet , made for a couple of skulls trying to pick the ball off the wet grass. Quiet, no traffic or houses on course. Would go back but maybe a slightly later tee time to allow... More

Play here frequently. Course is one of the better designs in the area and very demanding at times. Real issue here is that the course is ALWAYS soft. Big portion of the course is in a low-lying area and does not drain well. Even a week to 10 days after a good rain you will be dealing with a few... More

The greens were not cut and rolled but it is a heat wave! This course is meant for the business man. It has perils but often will kick your ball back into play. The cart girl made a lot of rounds so that you don't have to shrug your shoulders at the guests. She even went and got a specialty... More
