The river was mostly class 1 and 2 with some class 3 rapids. I had a tiny loaded kayak for camping and made it fine without any issues. From the highway, you can take a 1 mile hike to Greer Spring (about 60 degrees.and the second largest spring in the Ozarks) and/or see the mill. Camping at Greer is not... More

Husband and I went on Eleven Point River 2 days. First day got in at Grear and out at Whitten. Second in at Whitten and out at Riverton. Both days fabulous, would have to say 2nd day a little more. More places to stop and relax if don't want to just float plus the Boze Mill spring is a must... More

This river was a great Saturday float , with about 15 of us going, and renting from Richard's Canoe Rental. I couldn't believe how nice the river was for a hot July Saturday - no big crowds or rowdiness. So much better than other nearby rivers that are obnoxious on the weekends. We parked our boats and hiked to the... More

This is natures treasure chest for sure. The camping is extremely primitive. There is an outhouse but along the trails were sight of people not using the outhouse. My girlfriend and I got there late and camped in a tent in the parking area. We were the only ones there and it was extremely frightening. We stayed up most of... More

Went there with three canoes, three tubes, six adults and four kids ages 4, 5, 7 & 8. We started at Turners Mill and got out at the 160 bridge. Around 15 river miles. We checked out several float camps and while they were nice they were off the river a ways. We camped on a gravel bar. The horse... More

We had previously canoed the Current, so we decided to try Eleven Point this year, and it was a wonderful choice. We went to Hufstedler's Canoe Rental in Riverton, and boy did they take good care of us. We got a nice campsite that included showers AND free firewood, and a nice, stable, low-draft canoe that didn't hang up on... More

This river holds MANY special memories for me and maybe I'm partial? BUT, I've floated so many rivers in the USA and this one is, hands down, my favorite. It's spring fed which means that even in 100 degree days, it feels like you're floating in air conditioned waters. When I was younger, I didn't hesitate to swim in this... More

The Eleven Point river is a wilderness river. Wild and awesome. I fish - floated the river last year. Unfortunately the river was up (mildly flooded) so the fishing was off, but in a couple of weeks I will go back to the trophy waters and try my luck again. The water was not as clear as the North Fork... More
