The Finger Lakes area is great for site seeing but not easy to find a good restaurant especially before 6.00pm.
The only restaurants that are open for lunch are the fast food chains. Even some of the hotels do not offer lunch service.
We had an amazing time , Corning has a wonderful town with antique stores, museums , nice restaurants and approx 30 min away from the Seneca wineries. Loved it we met some really nice people from New Orleans and local. I will definitely go back...More

We call the Finger Lakes "Home", so we have hiked and geocached many of the lakes. Breathtaking views, great swimming, great hiking trails, biking. Award winning Wine cellars, Wegmans Food Market, etc. We love it here!
