The Wallowa Mountains and Eagle Cap Wilderness is the flagship of wilderness areas. The upper East Fork of the Lostine River is easy day hike from the end of the road at Two Pan.

Spent 7 nights in the wilderness - awesome views - trails were well maintained. There were some fires in the area but there was up to date info everywhere soit made it easy for us to stay clear. Saw a heard of Elk and deer....More

Take a couple of days and go backpacking in the Eagle Cap Wilderness. The Lakes Basin and Glacier pass are beautiful. Spend the night at Glacier Lake and enjoy the beauty around you.
