We hiked the Henry's Fork Trail to the summit of King's Peak, the highest point in Utah. We camped out 2 nights at a beautiful location below Gunsight Pass. There was plenty of water in July, and the scenery was breathtaking. Rangers were out completing...More

The loop hike from Henry's Fork to King Peak, the highest point in Utah, is about 33 miles long with a climb of 4000 feet. It is not difficult, although the altitude is over 12000 feet, and it can be done in 2 days but...More

Hiked to the top of Kings Peak, starting at the Henry Fork Trailhead. 30 miles roundtrip, totally worn out, but well worth the effort! Amazing scenery, and peaceful (if you ignore the Boy Scouts) surroundings!
