We have considered this visit for some time and finally made it. This 1-2 hour stop is well worth the time. The story of the pioneer family who created this fort is inspiring. The fort, furnishings and period pieces are all excellent.

What a lovely place to stop on our way south. The fort was so very well maintained, and the history was inspiring. We loved the people and the atmosphere. Glad we stopped.

This is a really neat place to stop, it's only a mile off of the freeway. A tour only took 30 minutes or so and it was a really interesting and inspiring experience. The fort is beautiful and the tour guides are friendly and knowledgable.

It was a great representation of frontier life for a family who lived their lives with faith and fortitude. The bathrooms were very clean.

we travel at least once a month back and forth Fillmore and st. George area. I often have to miniature dachshunds traveling with my daughter and I. They are super mild-mannered. If we can hold them in our arms would it be okay to stop by so my 13 year old can check out Cove Fort. It just seems like anytime I have time to stop are little babies are with us.

With a full tour, plan about 45 minutes, but let the guides know what your time constraints are and they can customize it to as long or as short as you need!
