Lincoln Gap is a beautiful, twisting, steep, and slow-paced backroad gem right in the heart of the Green Mountains. Easy access from Route 100 in Warren or Route 116/17 in Bristol. Some parts of the road are still dirt, which makes it that much more...More

We drove through in late September without a plan or a worry, we say a turn in Warren and took the chance that it might be the causal fun drive we were looking for...and indeed it was. Although the road is not paved in many...More

Got the information about Lincoln Gap Road from New England Fall Foliage on Facebook. There were spotters who were reporting where fall colors were. The road does go from paved to unpaved (but not bad) at times and you do have to be careful of...More

I did Lincoln and App gap today, and while I look forward to it again, I'll bring a lower gear. It tips up to about 20pct and stays there. No matter how much wishing there is no mercy in this climb...loved every leg wrenching inch...More

I might be slightly biased because I live in Lincoln, but I have traveled all over the United States, and Lincoln Gap is an incredibly scenic and fun road!! Plus, I'm not sure that I've been on a steeper mountain pass... Go slow, as the...More

The Lincoln gap is a fun stretch of (still mostly) dirt road... which can be a whole lot of fun on a motorcycle! If you are into hiking, there is a parking lot at the top of the gap that allows you to hike on...More

We took Lincoln Gap Road between Warren and Lincoln on October 10, 2009 and the color was awesome. Since it is such a narrow road, the trees completely enveloped us with dazzling color. A little slice of heaven in Vermont.
