We camped here for 4 nights during the end of August in site R24, a riverfront tent site. We discovered this county run campground while searching the internet for places to camp near Busch Gardens & Colonial Williamsburg (both which are about 25 mim. away)...More

Our youth group camped recently on a weekend. They all liked it and want to return. The restroom building was always clean, but stalls are very tight. Pool was very busy but nice, the camp store staff were always friendly, as was the camp host.

We spent five nights here earlier this month as part of our vacation. Admittedly, we were not here for the camping so much as a place to stay while we visited Williamsburg, so I cannot speak to such amenities as the pool, playground, etc. (which...More

We stayed there four nights. The park is beautiful but you really need to scout out the sites before you make reservations. Some have no shade at all, some are actually almost muddy. The county should put gravel in the camping areas to dry them...More
