Easily one of the must visit places for those who love beautiful mountain views in the US. The volcanic mountains in WA have been on my bucket list of places to visit and they did not disappoint!

It's just an amazing area. The scenery is superb and the views are stunning. We were in the area for a wedding and really enjoyed the spectacular ambiance the mountains provided as a back drop the whole weekend!

Our first exposure to the area was the Ranger's Station in Trout Lake -- Sarah, between handling 2 phone lines, a short wave radio and training an assistant -- gave us a first rate understanding of what we needed, how to get to the trailhead...More

Mount Adams offers so much scenery, but you have to know where to look, or else you might miss it. Mount Adams is the second highest mountain in Washington (after Mount Rainier), and the second largest volcano in the Cascade Range (after Mt. Shasta). Mount...More

We went camping over Labor Day weekend on the south side of Mt. Adams near the small town of Trout Lake. Peterson Prairie Campground was our base and we explored the area around there. It was absolutely gorgeous! Mt Adams is right in your face!...More
