The magnificence, scale and sense of history of the Lincoln Memorial is breathtaking. The view from the memorial, up the Mall over the reflecting pool to the Monument was a highlight of our trip to Washington. It is beautiful. A must for any trip to Washington

With Lincoln at your back, look out at the pool toward the Washington Monument and you can't help but be proud to be an American.
