It's okay. It's sort of out of the way as far as where the other monuments are. Too big statue Jefferson with some of his more famous quotes.

It's a good walk from the Mall, probably better if you just rent a bike to look around this side of the river.

Nice diversion. It is out of the way and the parking lot is blocked for security reasons. You better make sure where you're going or you will wind up on the wrong exit.

We brought my son into D.C. for a long President's Day weekend tour of Georgetown & American Universities, and while here, we decided to take in some of the D.C. sights. This was one of our first stops and we were able to go at night, which I HIGHLY recommend. Beautiful in the evening!!

This building is beautiful day or night. The views for the building are also amazing. We walked over on our last evening in town and got some wonderful pictures of the Memorial and all the other Monuments around it.

This is a beautiful memorial. I actually visited it both during the day and night. I enjoyed the night time better.

The Jefferson Memorial is a really neat site honoring our nation's third president. Below the memorial itself are exhibits discussing the role Jefferson played in our nation's founding. The memorial itself is a bit out of the way, but the walk there offers some really gorgeous views of the DC skyline and is well worth it. If you're tired, you... More

Everyone, I mean everyone goes to see Lincoln. We did, too. But Jefferson just does not get the foot traffic. Do yourself a favor. See the Jefferson Memorial. It is gorgeous, grand and moving. What a tribute to this founding father. It is more quiet than Abe's place and, thus, has something very special about it. It was my favorite... More

This is an often over looked memorial as it is not directly near the others. However, it is stunningly beautiful and well worth a visit. I personally think it is most beautiful at night when it is all lit up
