Beautiful classic architecture. My family did not linger very long once they climbed the steps to the top as they did in the Lincoln memorial. It is a little bit of a walk to get to the memorial.

The Jefferson memorial is a little further out than the rest of them but its well worth the visit. It's very atmospheric perched up on the waters edge and the view out over the water is great.

Don't leave without making a trip out to the Jefferson Memorial. I wish Lincoln and the other memorials had as good a museum as this one does. Do see the exhibit underneath the memorial, lots of information about a fascinating man.

Start with the Lincoln Memorial, then hit Vietnam, Korean War, MLK, FDR and it will lead you here. It's right on the water and you have a great view of the Washington Monument. In the middle, there is a huge statue of Jefferson. The monument looks far away but it doesn't take too long walking through the FDR memorial, and... More

Lovely & peaceful memorial. Great views of the city, Whitehouse & other sights. Easily accessible, especially using the brilliant & inexpensive Circulator bus service.

This is a very large standing statue of Jefferson which is stunning. You can walk up steps or take elevator to the top. Great to see at night.

Incredible design and wonderful views. Love the construction and quotes inside on the walls. Worth making the effort to visit up close as part of your city tour/visit. Probably doesn't get the recognition he deserves and monument overlooked by many visitors. On site shop and restrooms.

Go see this and read every word carved onto every stone. Jefferson was an amazing man, and his ideas have been largely discarded, to the detriment of us all.

This place really made me walk in a U from the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. This monument was nice but my only complaint was the lighting inside was so dark. Other than that, it was worth the visit.
